BGMI Awards 2024

KRAFTON has announced the first-ever BGMI Awards 2024, a month-long in-game celebration recognizing top content creators and esports athletes. The awards have three main categories: “JOD Creators” for top gaming personalities, “Fashion Ke Deewane” for leading female creators, and “Esports Game Changers” for the best esports players. Voting began on June 8, 2024, and players can participate by completing missions and earning tokens within the game .

Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024

The BGIS 2024 is one of the biggest esports events in India, featuring a massive prize pool of ₹2 crores. The competition started in April and will culminate in the Grand Finals from June 28-30, 2024, at HITEX Exhibition Center, Hyderabad. The event involves several stages, including qualifiers, semi-finals, and a wildcard entry phase. The top 16 teams will battle it out in the finals across 18 matches to determine the champion .


Prize Pool Breakdown

The winning team will take home ₹60 lakhs, while the runner-up will receive ₹30 lakhs. There are also awards for the MVP, most finishes, lone survivor, and rampage, each with a prize of ₹1 lakh .

These events highlight BGMI’s significant role in India’s gaming community, offering players numerous opportunities to engage and showcase their skills on a grand stage.
